Good—- dominating win over am SEC West rival on the road. Six offensive touchdowns. Pick six. Three interceptions including two by Battle. Bryce Young,Metchie, Anderson, Williams, Holden. Seven sacks, four by Anderson.

Bad—refs made some terrible calls AFTER replay!

Ugly—- Mississippi State’s rushing yards

Good: Will Anderson, the dude is an artist and his brush is a sledgehammer. Battle took a step tonight. Metchie played really well and looks like he could be getting in a groove (hasn’t been 100%). 7.9 YPP to 4.0.

Bad: I’m a, “be good enough to overcome shitty officiating” guy. And Bama almost always is that good. But I’m legit starting to wonder if Saban/Alabama has pissed someone off in the SEC officiating office. I just can’t make sense if some of the stuff that goes on like the Bolden catch being ruled incomplete.

Ugly: Refer to “Bad”.

Bad- A positive under the bad category is Anderson is a Bad man. We need more playmakers on D. Also DL cannot hold the point. This will cost them against an elite teams or teams that can run.

Ugly- #10 fielding punts.

At the end when he was ask about being on the goal he said they called timeout to change the play and they did not do that last week. He said he did not want to throw anyone under the bus but pretty sure he did for last weeks play calling on the goal line.

Good - Bryce Young - his accuracy while running for his life, and deciding to take off finally and seeing big time success. Treshon Holden - watching him burn down the sideline and then seeing him catch and score. He looked fast and it was just great seeing him get an opportunity after I made a comment about it this past week. John Metchie - this is the talent and player we need to make a run. He looked interested, caught the ball, and was the player tonight I had hoped to see this entire season. William Anderson - made his presence felt, motor never stopped, and it was great to see him have some success. Brian Robinson Jr. - not a ton of yards or a great average, but ran hard, got the tough yards, and was a great asset for his team.

Bad - 3rd and Long for our defense. We bent snd never broke, but it's still so depressing seeing us give up third and long conversions. We won't benefit from inferior opponents later in the year and if we're giving it up now I just don't see it getting fixed. We gave up three field goals, I love that, but better teams than this won't make the mistakes Rogers made tonight to bail us out.

Ugly - the pressure Bryce Young was under most of the game. Not taking anything away from Mississippi State's defensive line, but our line had trouble yet again. Luckily Bryce is very mobile and highly accurate when he's not standing still. Just hoping we work to get better.

Extra Good - overall I felt we responded well. Took advantage of their mistakes, flashed in some areas we struggled previously, and did not allow a touchdown. It appears we'll get a beat up Tennessee team with a hurt starter at quarterback, so it appears we have another chance to get better against an opponent we should manhandle. Not ready to say we've turned a corner, but that'll come with time and a continuous showing. Feel much better at 1AM this weekend than I did at the same time a week ago! Roll Tide.

Good - Offense scoring 49 points. Defense playing zone coverage and actually playing the ball. Reichard kicking the ball into the endzone
(needed that last week). DJ Dale on the bench most of the game.

Bad - Defense still giving up too many yards over the middle and allowing 3rd down conversions. LBers don't play the man in their zone until he
catches the ball. Still not playing guys ( A. Hall may hit the portal this week).

Ugly - Everyone on the defensive front not named Will Anderson. We must recruit some top athletic DEs and space eater NTs for the 2023 cycle.
The State of Alabama is absolutely loaded with DEs next year.

Yep that was very telling. Stated with the fast pace no huddle it is hard to change plays w/o calling a timeout. Last week did not call one this week they did and changed the play. Sounds like BOB was still going to do either a RPO or pass and Saban called timeout to fix that. Of course the last part is speculation on my part.

I think they are going to have to review what defines a “correct “ review in the future.
It is supposed to be indisputable. It does not say anywhere in the description “what the reviewer “thinks or feels””
The review official MUST understand this!
