So angry last night, I thought it better to cool down before commenting.
The Good: Run Defense and Best Punter in America
The Bad: Offensive Line and its Coach Mario Cristobal
The Ugly: Untimely Penalties and Fumbles on Special Teams
Nick gets paid big time bucks to make these decisions, but methinks it is time for some coaching changes. Mario Cristobal needs to hit the road. Despite getting 4 and 5 star recruits, our offensive line is not getting it done. Cyrus Kouandijo was a highly rated 5 star LT and did not get the draft rating he probably should have received, considering his potential. The best offensive lineman last night was a true freshman. Too many administrative penalties from that line indicates lack of proper coaching. Mario might be a great recruiter, but I question his teaching abilities. The special teams/TE coach Bobby Williams needs to be in the unemployment line today. The mistakes there are too numerous to list, but you don't need me to point them out. I think you guys faulting Blake Sims are dead wrong. He is not an AJ McCarron, but Peyton Manning would have had difficulty behind the offensive line we displayed last night. All the problems I saw throughout the game reflect bad coaching. Just my opinion. If you don't want me to post it any more, say so. But last night was painful to watch. Especially with the talent available on this team.
