🏈 The God, The Bad and The Ugly vs. OM

Good- The teame competed hard was able to start running the ball. Slowed down the OM running game and held them to 7 points in the 2nd half.

Bad- Our Running game in the first half.

Ugly- Stopping the run especially in the 1st half. Really the first half defense.

Good. Reictard. Money.
Bryce young. Gold.
D stepped up individually. Not sure on schemes

Bad. OM running same plays and no adjustments
DBs drops of potential ints
Ugly. Ms50+ has learned some really ugly words

To much love be given to Tennessee. Way to much

Good: we won
Bad: the defensive and offensive lapses
Ugly: Bill O'Brien's god awful scheme and play calling. Who calls six straight pass plays (three of them being inside the 10) after McCellan ran the ball over Ole Miss to get us there in the first place? THEN with the opportunity to MAKE THEIR ASS QUIT and put the game away, O'Brien's offense only musters up 6 points and a punt.

How does Saban honestly put up with such mediocre product when he preaches about getting better every single play? Keeping Golding and BOB goes against everything he has stood for since he was hired. It makes absolutely zero sense.

Good—-Tide pulled out a close game, Bryce & Byron Young, Jase McClellan, Ja’corey Brooks, D coming up big multiple times

Bad—-penalties and other mistakes, bad calls (first down for Ole Miss, no PI call on Bama’s third down when they had to settle for a FG), the defense struggling at times including the last Ole Miss drives

Ugly—-offensive play calling, defense getting gashed in the first half, several dropped balls 🏈, o-line pass protection and rushing struggles for most of the game

Good- Like others said, Bama won. Normally, a Bama win on the road against a good (not great) Ole Miss team is a 3 putt for par... but with how this season has played out for Bama, we should all enjoy that victory. Was important for Saban to get it for a couple reasons, but recruiting is a big one. A loss today and the door gets kicked open even more by rivals in recruiting... instead, a bit of a statement was made by Bama. It was also important from a team standpoint. There were some flashes of MTAQ Bama ball there in the 2nd half... not much, but something Saban can hopefully build on.

Bad- The play calling I'm sure has been beat to death around here all season, so I'll pass on that. There were two plays that epitomize the Bama defense this season. Both on OM’s first drive of the 3rd quarter. 2nd and 20, they get a matchup of a WR on LB, right down the seam, slow safety reaction = easy first down. Secondly, 3rd and 18. Dallas Turner has an easy sack to force a punt but is out of control and rips Dart’s head from his shoulders. Automatic 1st down and they score easily a few plays later. So frustrating.

Ugly- Dallas Turner pushing Dart's helmet into the turf after a key 4th down stop. He was really, really lucky he wasn't flagged for it. I get it, the guy wears Star Wars cosplay face paint and spells his name Jaxson, he deserved it... but you have to have better discipline in that situation.
