Looks like the bad news continues. Tyren Jones busted with pot last night a source is telling me. He may be gone now. Need Damien Harris to come in now and be ready.

Flowers already on campus and Harris will be here in the summer. @planomateo, I think we will still be "decent" at the RB position. Henry, Scarbrough, Drake, Flowers, Harris, and isn't Ronnie Clark still working at RB? If so, we have 6 RBs for Kiffin to have at his disposal.

I know it sucks with Tyren making the stupid decision he made, but I had the gut feeling that with his suspension coming down in January February 1st, he was more than likely not going to be around come August. I have nothing to support that, just a gut feeling.

Maybe it is time too tighten things up. I heard Wimp on the radio yesterday. He said it was easier in his day because all the athletes lived in the same dorm. Now they are scattered all over the area around campus. Perhaps the power five conferences can go back to athletic dorms.

It's bad PR for sure, but he had one foot out the door. I didn't think he'd play again for Bama, so yes this was necessary. Jax State is a little lean at RB...

i was listening to jox yesterday as well when he said that. but the trouble with the power 5 doing that now is they'd either need permission from the ncaa to do that or just leave the ncaa outright and reinstate the athletic dorms. the ncaa did away with those some years back.

I don't think any of this is that controversial. Sad to see Tyren screw the pooch. He had a lot of potential. He will transfer and start somewhere and will likely make a bunch of highlight reels if he can stay out of the pokey.
