🏈 GAME THREAD 🏈 WEEK THREE: NCAA/SEC Games of the Week.

Arkansas blew it with a fumble. Not sold on Ole Miss yet after struggling to beat Kentucky and barely surviving Arkansas at home.

Vandy is going to be a lot for our defense again this year. The folks in Nashville think this is the best team they’ve ever fielded. They have 2 cupcakes before coming to T-town, could easily be 7-0 and favored against us. But they did list to Georgia State last year, so they could struggle with them again, but I highly doubt it. We’ll have to put up a few gross of points to beat them.

I'm gonna talk about those Sec Teams tomorrow

A lot would have to go wrong on Bama's end between now and then for that to happen. (not saying they won't win again though)

Lagway plays with no urgency and does not set his feet to pass. Not sure I've seen a worse performance by a UF QB.
I would put his ass on the bench. How long will they put up with Napier?

Unless it saves them significant money to wait, pulling the trigger after a loss next week at Miami wouldn't be the worst idea. If it were me, I might let him ride it out a bit longer, but with what lies ahead and they way they've played, I don't see an escape route for him this time around (he survived last year, despite ignoring advice to give up the play calling, when he closed out the season strong). But if you want to be sure he doesn't break free again, you can him after the next loss.

Id wait it out, but be in the process of finding my next coach in private. Go ahead and call some coaches, see who's interested, and go from there.

The main thing is firing him when the auto portal window can't hurt you... but I'd still wait a bit.
F Florida fans are aiming high with their coaching candidates form what I've seen tonight. I know they don't like to hear it, but Jedd fisch is the most likely candidate from what I've seen. Lanning isn't realistic, Freeman isn't realistic, Kiffin could happen, but I doubt he goes. There's some group of 5 coaches they could try, but I don't think they'd want to do that again. My boy schumann is a candidate to some fans, but I think he's in the same boat as the group of 5 coaches. I don't see them hiring him, and God I hope I'm right.... because it's their loss, lol.

Im curious to see how their search works out for them, and who knows.... maybe they can pull off the impossible and hire one of these big time coaches.

Notre Dame’s schedule is very light the rest of the way (no ranked teams). Hopefully the 2 losses keep them out of playoff contention. They won’t be able to have any quality wins, that’s for sure. Maybe Arkansas will take them down for icing on the cake. But that may be a stretch.
