Rick Karle Good News
epSdtrosnot06ighi6f15a71l4i8h1u6i055491371hm6uu0f0cu08aht3fa Ā·One of the good guys in sports retired from the NFL yesterday.
He played his high school football at Handley High School in Roanoke, AL.
He's a former Crimson Tide football star who won 2 national championships at Bama.
And after an 8 year professional career, Bradley Bozeman is proving you CAN come home again, as he and his wife are embarking on their dream (more on that dream in just a bit).
He was a star center at Bama- he met a Bama basketball player and Kennesaw, GA native named Nikki Hegstetter at the Capstone.
Their first date? June 6th, 2014 at DePalma's Italian Cafe in Tuscaloosa.
Bradley ordered the veal marsala, Nikki the chicken parmigiana.
Bread pudding for desert and the tab was picked up by Bradley.
Bradley popped the question at the most awesome time and place:
Right there on the Merecedes Benz Stadium turf moments after Tua hit DeVonta to win the 2018 national championship in Atlanta.
Both Bradley and Nikki landed rings that night.
It was a magical journey through the NFL.
3 teams and 3 kids over an 8-year span.
The Carolina Panthers, the Baltimore Ravens and the Los Angeles Chargers.
Brody, Bailey and Boone.
Today, Bradley and Nikki and their kids form The Fab Five.
Nikki sent me a nice message yesterday, and it came from Bradley, who appreciates the class you have shown in supporting him here on my page:
āTo everyone, especially the people who have been here since I played at the University of Alabama, thank you!
Thank you for all the encouragement, positivity, and support.
In this crazy world of social media, it has been a breath of fresh air to get to interact with this network of such supportive people!
"Iām so proud of the journey Iāve had at Alabama and in the NFL, but Iām even more proud of this next chapter of being a full-time dad and cattle farmer.
"Thank you for all the support and we hope you will continue to follow our journey at Bozeman Family Farm here on Facebook! Roll Tide!ā
And now for more on that dream.
Back in 2024, Bradley and Nikki bought some land back in Bradley's hometown of Roanoke- their goal?
To take on cattle farming once Bradley retired from the NFL (picture, left).
Think of John Hannah and what he's done since retiring.
It must be something about Crimson at
Tide centers.
Many football fans didn't have Bradley and Nikki trying their hands at cattle ranching on their Bingo cards, but here we are (I'm thinking this would make for a fantastic reality show).
And while the Bozemans tackle their new venture, the Bradley and Nikki Bozeman Foundation will continue to spread its anti-bullying message and help tackle the issue of food insecurity by delivering food to those in need.
Let's congratulate Bradley for his fantastic football accomplishments, and let's wish Bradley and Nikki luck in cattle farming.
May the Bozeman Family Farm be a hit.
May the Fab Five reap joy from their labor.
