You didn't watch the Illinois game, did you? Sears is one of my favorite players of all time. But every player has games where they need to ride the bench. Brandon Miller had some of his own.
He did a lot of this last year too. It's the soft passes, getting himself in the air and errant passes. He just so happens to play and score well enough to minimize the exposure the negative brings.
BB seems very game specific, ie best team doesn't win on a regular basis. Don't really get the game like I understand football. I've watched a few Bama games but never played so don't understand it the same.
Offense is struggling and the D has not been good enough tomight to keep it manageable until they get out of the slump. Turnovers and getting it handed to them on the boards is not helping either.
7-28 from 3 is deceptive. It's not a "not our night" type deal. It's a "poor shot selection and decision making" type deal. You don't settle for 3 just because. Oats wants the most efficient shot on the court. These guys aren't buying into that right now.
