It never ceases to amaze me how Purdue with an average recruiting ranking in the mid 40’s consistently develops those three and four star players into top 25 teams year end and year out.

They have done it for MANY years. Good, solid player development.

I know …but it still amazes more programs don’t try to duplicate that successful model. I wish Bama would do something similar. Let the BB elites chase the five stars that are here today and gone tomorrow. My neighbor’s a huge Kentucky fan and he’s just about done with them. He says he never knows year to year what the roster will look like. Makes it hard for fans to become invested in their success.
