I mean I have no clue what Cliff is even doing that last possession. He was ball watching the whole time and look like he didn't even attempt to box out. Now Oregon ties it up because you're not disciplined.
Just a miserable performance again from a veteran team that won't commit to the other side of the ball.
And then Sears once again just takes one of the worst shots in basketball with three fucking guys on him. Dude is a turnover machine right now. Yet Philon comes in and the offense immediately sparks.
Once Philon or Holloway come in and run point, the offense takes off. Sears runs point and the offense turns it over 10 times.
Oats is gonna have to bench some of these guys. Holloway, Philon, Dioubate, Nelson, and find a fifth to roll out there. The rest can come off the bench when needed in my eyes.
Not trying to pile on Sears, but it's clear as day he is struggling running this offense. There's not even a need for him to run point because we have two capable PGs in Philon and Holloway. Sears is 2-6 from the floor right now and just gets stuck when he drives.

I think Wrightsell has done good. He's not playing that well on ball, but he's defending the PnR.
It's really frustrating that we don't have a rim protector yet. Sherrell is physical but not as athletic as Cliff. And then Cliff has the athleticism but doesn't protest the rim at all.
