Losing Britt is a HUGE blow to the Barners. Kid is a baller. Losing Williams for any extended period of time could prove detrimental to their offense as well. Considering he is the only one that is willing to go up and try and snag an errant Bo Pix pass!!
When a coach says you quit in a ball game, you are not a baller.that Williams ....has some strong hands and is tall....
He is a baller
Jordan Rogers has a pretty good breakdown of how dysfunctional their offense is right now...watched it through his Twitter feed a few hours ago.Losing Britt is a HUGE blow to the Barners. Nailed it!! My first year coaching and we had a kid that was 6’2 220 that played RB and MLB for us. When he wanted, he was an absolute animal! He had multiple offers but no desire to get to the next level. We were playing a game and he got stuffed on a run late in the third. We thought that the blocking had broken down but on Saturday morning, we could hear the opposing coaches say “he quit! He just laid down! Game over!” We let him and the team hear for themselves that Monday as we watched it again. When a coach says you quit in a ball game, you are not a baller.

Williams has had his issues for years now.
You have heard about the issues down there. With him, he was a known 'handful' coming out of high school.give you that...havent really heard about other issues....
just have seen him play...basing it on that...no, havent seen every game either...
Justone here n there
Their offense has looked bad: weird in fact.
You would think that Gus would learn. Either Call the game and run the offense yourself, or stay the hell out of the way. He obviously can't make it work with a mash up of his and whomever his OC is at the time, calling plays during a game.
That’s really the full truth.... its not just recruiting...its recruiting ur needs and style..You nailed it here. The guy is a weirdo who doesn't fully trust anyone to run his offense, and honestly, not many or any can. But he also gets pressure from around the program to do certain things. That's normal to a degree at any SEC school (had gotten out of hand at UA under Shula, then Saban stepped in on day 1 and "fixed the glitch"). But, at auburn, it has manifested over the years and at times causes real issues. For example, Bo Nix was a highly regarded QB coming out of HS, lots of legit offers. But he as ALWAYS going to auburn as a Hayseed Legacy. The influencers around the program would have had a shit fit otherwise. But, is Bo Nix the type of QB that Gus needs for his system to excel? Obviously, no. As it is, it's just hurting what Gus wants to do, and also hurting Bo's development as a QB.
