Sounds like it's turning into a good day for you. Good food and a possibility of good company and entertainment. Not bad for a Wednesday for sure. Possibilities like that are a big reason I don't want to go back to work.

That's why I was in the bar business for a few years. They say "Happy Hour begins at five." It's a lie. Happy Hour begins with the 3rd shift folk drinking at 8 in the morning.

It is a good day. A dozen or so folk saying, "fuck it, let's eat today." I don't care. My mom is having a blast eating food.

An observation. What I love about my friends. It's a red solo cup day...because of my mom. Pretty fuckin' cool.
