| MBB/WBB đźŹ€ #4 Alabama vs. #21 Ole Miss - Tuesday 6 pm (ESPNU)

Strange game
..strategy. Drive every possession to the rim.....
No sharp passising...
Little shooting from 3s.
Passing up open 3s

When bama got lazy on D. Oats replaced all 5 on floor in earlier games. He seemed as out of this game as players were.....

what a difference.....from earlier games....

Well he didn't hold back in the presser.... Good to see a coach call it like it is. Called himself and the senior leadership out as he should. Now they are about to lose 2 in a row. Can the beat UK in Rupp? Sure but unlikely. Created this situation with the pathetic effort tonight.
Visiting teams get called for flagrant fouls stepping off the bus at Rupp. :p Tough game to watch last night, got the bad vibe midway through the first half and couldn't shake it, apparently the team couldn't either. Don't know if it was being lax because they "think" being at home is all it takes to win these, but Ole Miss smacked them in the mouth pretty good. Hopefully it's a wakeup call.

I can see laying an egg like that on the road but to not show up at home sends a bad message to the fan base.
IMO CNO really needs to bringing in tougher players with higher IQ's if at all possible.

Sounds pissed. One note of him being pretty mad about none of the senior leadership showing up. I don't know if it's just me, but part of the reason Sears was so special last season was because he held everyone accountable. The cameras constantly panned to him chewing someone out. I don't see much of that this season. He's also lost some burst.

Oats is also going to have to find a way to re-energize Philon. His game has been rough as of late.

I think this was the worst display Oats' team has since the Georgia loss in his third year. The effort and energy were nonexistent.

I'm not overly concerned about the loss (or at least the team), though it was hard to compute some things last night... if it becomes a trend? I'll be concerned.

Re: Philon... IMO, he's hit the freshman wall a bit. Would kinda like to see him come off the bench for a game or 2 and see if that sparks him like it has in the past with others.
