🏈 🔎 Looking ahead to this weekend:Vanderbilt -- How does Alabama match up with the Commodores?

Lawson moving to OLB and Green Hill takes over his spot. Supposed to help with stopping run games
We'll see how the rotation shakes out...injury forcing necessity. Even though they've been practicing different combo's it's still a "thrown to the wolves" scenario. It's been a signficant part of practice going on almost a month now, I guess. Off week and then pre-UGA.

Here's a game where I wish the CBS deal was still in place. I'd be streaming their All-22 Saturday. I'm intrigued with what they could do and will do with Bray.

The DL move makes me curious about the defense staying in an odd man front but with five...Gilberry made some comments on how they handled Manziel that were interesting.

It sounds like we're running 4-3 scheme nickel and dime against Vandy.
If I had to guess it'll be like this:

Overton, Keenan, Smith/Hill and Lawson (OLB)

Then we'll see :
WLB : Hill-Green
MLB : Jefferson

Rest of secondary are the same.

Easy switch to 3-3-5 by moving Lawson off the ground.. there's lot of versatile and we have the players to do that.

"Off the ground" as in a three point stance in the 4 front? No one has a lot of experience there between Lawson, Hill-Green, and Pierre (who's quickly become better.)

The four man front with two should be able to hold the edges more efficiently. It's my guess if we see a move with Lawson to the line that's the intent...it's a push to the middle. This is also where I like the idea of floating Bray up to play high in the box.

I'm not sure what to expect.

Sometime we just need someone that can do their job. Might not always do job right but they will out efforts into it.

I'm going to change the order of the ranking in the second image. As you can see, Bama has allowed two passing touchdowns to go with three INT's in the first image: yards per game allowed. (One of Vandy's INT's came against CSU, the other with Doty at UofSC.)
