Just a bitch ass cop out in my opinion! Hell! They couldāve or shouldāve gotten someone off of McFarland BLVD with more connection to the HOME TEAM! Maybe ask the custodian at McClure Library if they had 10-15 minutes to spare!
I'm with you. I think between you and @TerryP It confirms my feelings toward the game. At the end of the day, I think we all are saying, Just take care of business tomorrow and we should be okay. If there's one thing that's an advantage for Alabama out of all this, it's the people doubting Alabama... and Vandy's cockiness.Iām pretty confident Bama will handle business. But there are a couple of benchmarks Iād like to see them meet before I start to toss out some previous results (data). This month of games will answer those questions.
I'm thinking we know what we've been dealt as fans this season. Well, let me change that a bit. We know our current hand. Seen the flop. I amuse myself when that widow, she's white, visits.I'm thinking we know what we've been dealt as fans this season. Well, let me change that a bit. We know our current hand. Seen the flop. This is the turn.

We need a parlay for bama breaking out a long run tomorrow.Sooner or later, Bama's run game is going to really break though... maybe tomorrow, maybe down the road. But IMO, it's a ticking time bomb. And much like week 1, when some fans were down on Simpson for his play against FSU... I pushed back on that. Last week, Bama's run game against UGA garnered some internet groans. After going back and watching it again, I saw some promising stuff. I know Grubb wants to run it and he seems pretty dedicated to it thus far. I hope it stays that way. And I can absolutely see a scenario where the identity of this offense is fully formed and revealed tomorrow in Bryant-Denny.
This is why I mentioned Riley earlier. Thanks for bringing that back up.Sooner or later, Bama's run game is going to really break though... maybe tomorrow, maybe down the road. I am consistent win or lose. I evaluate performance based on what I see on the field and yes stats matter. I see a very good offense post FSU game. I see a medicore run defense. Not sure why saying that seems to be a problem for certain people on this board. When the efficiency #'s started getting posted I just shake my head. Been on this board enough to know certain folks are going to consistently go there as if they are trying to say do not trust what you are seeing on the field. What I don't understand is why some of the fans acting like this for no reason. If Alabama beats Vandy tomorrow, then we're going to have same fans saying same thing about SC. It's trauma speaking.
My focus was LOS on both sides until the UGA game. Still needs some improvement on offense for the run game but I did see improvement in that area against UGA even though it was 117 yards. It was enough to be effective. Of course would be great to get more push and that is an area I do think will continue to improve. Will stop beating the dead horse with regards to the LOS for the D. I hope we simply start by having the D players on the same page so we do not see three defensive players in the same gap.It appears that it's going to be a repeat of the hyperbole of the last two seasons as well. More of "defense sucks" when the focus is singular.
