🏈 🔎 Lookin ahead to Indiana

I agree their schedule doesn't touch Alabama's, but they smacked everyone on their schedule and did what they had to do, minus Penn State where they got lucky which you gotta do to win it all at some point.

Old Dominion 27-14

Iowa they only won 20-15, scoring 10 in the 4th quarter. tied- 10-10 at half and 13-13 in the 4th. Scoring a TD with 1.28 mins left.

Oregon was 30-20, they scored 10 points in the 4th quarter in the last 6 mins to pull that out. Oregon a good team, but wouldn't say they are a good Defense.

Penn State, we already know.

Ohio State, we already know.

Teams they smacked:

Kennesaw State
Indiana State
Illinois
Michigan State
UCLA
Maryland
Purdue

I would hope and expect any playoff team to smack those listed. I'm not saying they are a bad team or undeserving, but are they really as good as the media plays them up to be? Now, having said that I'm not sure Alabama is all that great either after beating a "Meh" Oklahoma team that shouldn't have been in the playoff... so there is that too.

5. Indiana is #4 for penalties this season.

I like that our penalty issues have diminished.
Gotta watch out for officials.

I don't think the refs are calling many if any penalties in the playoffs so far... love our boys, but damn did we get away with a ton of holds on the Oline. Oaky did too... so it was balanced. I think in just about every game I watched the Refs were not throwing any flags on the ground unless it was just egregious.

Agree, two games i watched they didn't call unless it was egregious.

I hate when we go to watch players and teams and dang officials think we tuned into to watch them.... one reason i dont watch basketball...til tournament...neutral court...
Home court in sec really sux in roundball. ...officials playing to crowd...

I'm home and I'm sipping Bama standard liquor bottle with coke tonight, and I'm glad @bamafan9201 brought this part up. Back in October/Early November, I still had questions about four teams this year: Indiana, Texas Tech, Texas A&M and Vandy.

Fast forward today: I'm not convinced at all about Texas Tech and Indiana. Indiana.... Improved in two years.... and suddenly they're in playoff and likely favored to win championship. I like everything about that team. They don't make mistakes; they are fundamentally sound team. You know who they remind me of? Let me send the link:

That's the vibe I'm currently getting from this team: It's very similar to ND. I remember all the talk about ND that week... They were favored to beat Alabama... and etc. I'm telling you this: IU is good, but I don't think they can handle Alabama.. If they do beat Alabama, I don't see them beating Georgia.
You know

Yup. I noticed same thing.
