🏈 🔎 Lookin ahead to Indiana

I believe Crowell is an early entry and will be able to practice with the team for the Rose Bowl. I would love to see him lined up in the I formation behind 15 while running against the 1st defense. What is his acceleration? Can he handle contact and is he elusive without giving up yards.

He can be taught pass blocking but being a natural RB is a talent you've been given for the most part.

Bama has to have two RB's that can play at a higher level than what we've seen this season. The current group isn't it and if they stay 2 more years, they still will be average.

My biggest concern is being one- dimensional at this point in the season ( not that its good anytime.) I would feel a lot better if we could run the ball consistently. I think we have a shot, but we need to play better than any point this year. I hope we fully utilize the time we have.
Seems to me that Hill runs better than Miller. Just start Hill.

When is the last time Bama was a dog like this? What's it this morning...I think Bama was a dog against UGA in '21. 6 or 6.5?

I'm very interested. I heard from a buddy in Vegas that believes the books are inflating the line to entice betting on Indiana for now...

A -7 hasn't happened in a VERY long time here's a pic of any underdog lines since Saban took over in 2007

I wanna draw everyone's attention to 2024 Indiana. Similar to 2025 Indiana they had similar numbers and stats, they also played a fairly rich schedule of cupcakes and easy games before losing to Ohio State and barely beating Michigan. They went to the CFP and got stomped by ND in the first round. If you notice, they didn't even score a TD until 1:27 left in the 4th Q. Notre Dame had a solid defense last year but not nearly THAT solid, I know it's a new year, new qb, new everything but I just don't think Indiana is as good as the paper suggests. I don't think we're gonna just blow em out, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did happen either.

I think Ohio State is down this year also, I honestly believe they'll lose their game as well...just my theory but the entire conference for the big 10 was down this year and competition levels inflated stats and numbers. Indiana came out with similar stats in 2024 and then this is how they performed against good competition in the playoff game.

I'll touch back on this tonight.

Ok my self imposed posting ban (for throwing a temper tantrum on here) is over.

That being said, I think this is a pretty good matchup up for bama. Indiana doesn’t make many mistakes, that’s why they’re undefeated. Bama’s “style” will give them fits. It’ll be a tight one.

I'm home and I'm sipping Bama standard liquor bottle with coke tonight, and I'm glad @bamafan9201 brought this part up. Back in October/Early November, I still had questions about four teams this year: Indiana, Texas Tech, Texas A&M and Vandy.

Fast forward today: I'm not convinced at all about Texas Tech and Indiana. Indiana.... Improved in two years.... and suddenly they're in playoff and likely favored to win championship. I like everything about that team. They don't make mistakes; they are fundamentally sound team. You know who they remind me of? Let me send the link:

That's the vibe I'm currently getting from this team: It's very similar to ND. I remember all the talk about ND that week... They were favored to beat Alabama... and etc. I'm telling you this: IU is good, but I don't think they can handle Alabama.. If they do beat Alabama, I don't see them beating Georgia.
