I have had a few mention they thought some of the things they've seen around the softball complex led them to believe there were plans to start expanding the stadium by adding a seating area outside of the left field fence. Earlier this morning I received a text saying it was happening followed by a few asking if I'd heard about the plans.
I had nothing concrete, only second hand conversations I could relay. But, seeing this tweet this afternoon?
Looks like they are adding seating to a stadium that already boasts the largest crowds in D1 softball.
