"Get to know each other" game?

Sling Blade. "Um, I like a little mustard on my biscuit." Dwight Yoakam did a fantastic job in that movie as the antagonist. I wanted to KILL him!

Favorite superpower?

I would want to fly or time travel. Or if there is a super power that can let me eat as I please with no consequences on my appearance or health .. :D

Do you untie your shoes when you take them off?

There are so many last second wins/big plays that are "mountain top" moments for me. Being there for Van Tiffin's kick, The Catch by Prothro, blocking two UT FG attempts, were all incredibly loud, exciting moments. All of the NC games I've watched are special. I would have to say the 93 Sugar Bowl trouncing of Miami was the best. That sole championship of the successful Stallings era was the only thing between us going 30 years without a NC.

What is your favorite charity, and why?

RTR,

Tim

I do not have one in particular. I tend to avoid the "big" ones. I generally stick with small and/or local organizations that help animal shelters, children, the elderly, etc.

Animal welfare is my top charity donor though.

First record / cassette / CD you ever bought?

"The Streak" by Ray Stevens on 45. Impulse purchase as a 9 y/o of a goofy song that started an affinity for 45's. I still have all the 45's I purchased as a kid.

Favorite personal finance magazine or website?

RTR,

Tim

I don't really read that sort of stuff. Magazine-wise, I like Rolling Stone, Nat Geo, etc. My dad is the financial genius in the house. By which I mean he can do math.

Would you rather be able to fly, or to read minds?

Read minds.

Everyone needs to learn about personal finance. It will benefit you greatly. You're a deep thinker - developing financial, budgeting and investment savvy is a key part of self development.

http://www.marketwatch.com/ - This is the Wall Street Journal's personal financial website. It is well written in plain English and covers a wealth of topics. Much of it survives from their former personal finance magazine Smart Money. The topics under personal finance are typically spot on, and the retirement calculator is excellent.

What's your preferred retirement age (or what age were you when you retired)?

RTR,

Tim

Right now, somewhere between 65-70 seems likely. Dad just hit 65 and he is still chugging along at his 2 jobs. If it were up to him, he'd never retire but mom wants to relax and buckle down somewhere. He will never stop umpiring though!

What is your least favorite thing about dealing with people?
