What a difference a year makes. A review of the 2008 Alabama defense reveals that the old adage regarding improvement from year one to year two of a coaches’ tenure holds a great deal of truth in Tuscaloosa. Coach Nick Saban is known to be a defensive minded coach, and the Crimson Tide is beginning to display the character of its head coach. Even with that expectation, the 2008 Alabama defense was a huge question mark.
