I didn't get to see the OSU vs VT game last night but the Bama fans I've talked too today are saying Miller did really well last night, one of them even called him an elite athlete. Almost everyone of them agreed and spoke "of what might have been" had he transferred to Bama.

I remember we had a similar discussion here back when that rumor became known.

Today, we agreed the change of position on the team really improved his potential NFL career.

What do you think?

He looks good at receiver. His size and speed make him particularly hard to cover. I believe he will make more money going into the NFL as a receiver off 1 year experience than a QB

he looked good as a play make in general. Reminds me of Harvin. Fast and a good athlete. like basically you could use him anywhere

Yeah he would play most anywhere in the country. Not taking anything away from Bama WRs but he would play here also.

That brings me to wonder about his shoulder. I wonder if it is truly that his shoulder "range" prevented him from throwing or if that is just what Urb put out there to allow him to save a bit of face after seeing what he had in Cardale and JT.

He took and gave some good licks last night and seemed to show no ill effects to his shoulder.

I think Urban is a snake oil salesman. Just a damn good one. I don't believe a lot of what he says except that he loves him some Tebow. I do believe that.

Miller looked faster than I've ever seen him last night. You could tell he had been training differently.

I agree as well that he could have came back to play quarterback but I'm betting Meyer sold him elsewhere based in Jones and Barrett. I'd bet my house on it.

I only hate 3 CFB teams and all their trappings. Awbarns, 10rc and Notadamn

I hate them to the point I won't type their names correctly and the only time I will watch them is if Alabama is playing them

I dislike the current iteration of OSU because Urb is there but I rooted for them in the BCS game against Miami and would root for them against any of the 3 teams listed above.

I lived in middle 10rc for a number of years and that alone drove me to hate orange even worse than Coach Bryant himself hated it. My distaste for OM and MSU wouldn't be near as strong if I didn't live in NE MS and listen to their drivel day in and day out

Miller is an outstanding athlete and played well last night. IMO, the change of position will be a bonus come draft day. He is so versatile and can add depth at several spots on an NFL roster.

His athleticism is freaky good. He's got good size, speed, hands, agility, everything. But I'm not so sure he would have been as good had he stayed at QB. That throwing shoulder of his is about dust at this point, so I'm not sure he could throw a ball accurately over 15 yards. The change of position was certainly for the best if he wants to play on Sundays.
