I'd love to know the amount of money being spent this weekend with recruiting. And no. Not just football. There's BIG talent in town for basketball. I know that. But, who and how many of the other sports programs brought in?

Yeah, not sure of the who’s and all. I know softball and baseball have several, golf may have a few too!!!!

A neighbor of one of my buddies daughter (I think I said that right) is going up. Her dad was apparently geared up for the game.

I was about to go off on a rant...think I'll sit back for a minute.
Breathe brother breathe.

I could rant about a few of the sites, it's why I usually stick to this one with you guys a lot less craziness on here and a few more informed people IMO.

Was this weekend the biggest success in recruiting in the modern era? Does this paint a picture towards future recruiting? Before people recruited talent usually during their own season but to use a product like an incredible celebrity filled, game of the century, football game to recruit pretty much every Athletic sport we could was a bold and honestly intelligent move. All the hype, the atmosphere, the intensity carried even more than just the Football recruits.

What an atmosphere that all those recruits got to experience. Not sure how it could have NOT had an impact on each one’s recruitment.

It’s a shame Justus Terry wasn’t able to make it, but hopefully the result and atmosphere as seen on TV will have him taking a harder look at Bama.

Dominoes are falling. I especially want Anthony Jones, dude is a freak linebacker. I've had the pleasure of watching play a few times, and this guy will be in the league when it's all said and done. Cleveland would be a big get as well. Still bummed about the Terry situation, that was a perfect game to get him at. He should be back for a visit soon, but that Georgia game would've been perfect. Still like out chances with him, but Georgia is going to be tough to fend off.

Really it is all about $$... Getting players simply based on $$ will not sustain and will eventually backfire. The Barn is going to Barn it is simple as that.

Saw that Bama only has 20 commits so we still have even more room to widen the gap.
Them thinking he's gonna come in and magically turn it around in his first year is ridiculous. I know ratface promised something along the lines of "you'll play in year 1" to get him to commit. But what happens if they're able to hold on to him, and he comes in and struggles during the spring and fall camp? They're left with Hank Brown and Walker white. And I don't see him wanting to sit a whole year.

Its the Benjamins. Even with excellent recruiting class. It doesnt happen the next year.
So are the AU people letting him around for year 4...witout considerable improvement?

I bet they will have 3-5 players decommited or flip to another school by next month.

I give occasional Graham Simpson updates in this thread since there isn’t a thread for the 2028 class. Last night against a good Dyersburg team, he threw for 496 yards and 6 TDs. Barring injury, he’ll set most every QB record in the state this season, and he’s sat out the 2nd half a number of games (one game they even ended at halftime). The rest of his high school career is going to be fun to watch.

He’s been a Clemson fan most of his life and was upset when Ty picked Bama a few years back. That doesn’t mean he’ll commit to Clemson, just some history.
