Yea, we're in a good spot with this one. I'm hearing some things that may mean we're about to see the greatest signing of a player in Alabama MBB history. We'll see though, BYU is out looking for $$ to push themselves over the edge.
For sure. Some solid wins. And Kentucky had plenty of chances to take their game. Shooting was plain awful by both teams in that one. Time for Bama and Auburn to take down the blue bloods of the conference.
@Brandon Van de Graaff if Sankey is thinking about grabbing a few more teams and this challenge is any indication of how the ACC's season is going this year ... with the playoff stories ...
I caught a couple of things last night / this morning.
Vandy and OU were picked to finish at the bottom of the SEC this season. They are 19-1.
We've already seen Bama play a few teams that will very likely be Q1 wins.
Jon Rothstein is projecting the SEC to carry at least 10 bids to the dance this season.
The Tide will end the season with how many Q1 games? 14? Likely more...
Lunardi weighed in as well:
On a related note: We'll get a "Bracketology" thread running when Bama gets into conference play (last night was the first night of conference play in CBB this season: can't remember the conference.)
As of yesterday, there have been 31 brackets published: Bama is ranked as a two seed, sixth overall.
It took Porter Moser around the same time to put together his system to be successful at Loyola Chicago like we're seeing this season at OU. He's a decent coach. Not the best but he can scrap together a good season or two.
