Concur 100%. Games felt bigger. Fewer were televised and making a bowl game was a big deal.

Game was more physical and less arena league like.

More home and home OOC games and fewer neutral site BS. Plus, 10 conference teams was ideal. 12 was okay. 14 is too damn many and the rotation is all jacked up.

Nothing meant fall football was here like Eli Gold on the radio in a dove field. Miss those days altogether

Yeah. That first game listening to Eli ....and shooting doves...pretty awesome
 
That an Alabama sponsored VCR and 10 disc CD player beside it?

Don't have heart to trash.. have a place in chattanooga that may fix..
Do have a Harmon Kardon receiver/amp with 6 CD player...set up and rock n rolling ....
You know us older ones and their CDs ( no 8 tracks or cassettes anymore though)...but those were the days
