I’ll agree that everyone should have the capacity for clean water, a 270-day in-hand food supply (along with a longer plan), reasonable energy alternatives, and 10,000 rounds.
None of those contingencies need me to believe the moon landing was faked, or that we are in the midst of a civil war.
Have you watched that movie? I have it downloaded...just haven't been in the mood.

I was being conservative. 12,000 is not too much. I think it goes to the mix. I have a good mix of 9mm, 10mm, .45 and .357 handgun wise, although I have carbines. From a survivalist standpoint, 2-15,000 .22 LR falls into its its own category. shotgun, you have to factor your own plan from 7 1/2 to slugs. Defense/assault/big game, you consider your equipment for .223/.556/7mm/.308/7.62/30-06 etc.
Curious. Do you have a bow?
A shame to say since I grew up down the road from Howard Hill's hometown, but no.
I got one a few years ago. I'm not good with it yet; I can hit the target. It's more of a workout than I thought...arms got tired, quickly, when I first started.
I've considered a crossbow.
I've got one. I haven't started with it yet. If I can get to the point where I'm anywhere close to as accurate with my bow as I am with my .22 LR...I'll move on to the crossbow. A compound bow is a learning experience...like I said, I'm getting there but no there yet.
Look at Wally World.. got a very good deal on clearance Centerpoint dagger.. I think they are doing away with them in most places..
Saw this yesterday, and I watched it 5 times, really tickled me!!! Reminded me of my ex-wife and I (for a while anyway)
