I think compliance is scared with the current news cycle with our university.
I first heard about JP's return over the Thanksgiving weekend. At that time the "process" was underway and, according to JP, it was about Alabama's compliance department. This is what he shared, JP, with some folks in N. Alabama over the holidays. There's been more since then, but that's the beginning.

More recently the same news came from someone else—this time from the football operations side of things. And like earlier, "it's all about compliance."

From "my side of the world," it's always been, UA Compliance.

(If you'll scroll back a bit you'll see @Brandon Van de Graaff and I touch on this a bit. Byrne and Saban have always coalesced, with their decisions, with compliance.)

As I mentioned to @bamafan4ever, if UT is slammed with sanctions the NCAA could rule that those sanctions follow Pruitt to Alabama. You, me, compliance, Saban, Byrne, and everyone else here ... we don't want any part of that, right? Could, not would, but still.

Things seem to be shaking out quickly...we'll get the full staff picture by the end of the month—based on what I understand. We may not get titles.

Just spitballing ...

Roach, Sunseri, and Armstrong make a strong front seven. TRob and Schumann with the back end?

(The team will need smart safeties.)

Wasn’t CrimsonBoz the former player ( I’m guessing walk-on or student trainer) from the 90s that had the the intel of all intel like it was coming from the admin for Saban or Mal.

20% of the board took what he said as the gospel, 60% were neutral and the remaining 20% called bs on him all day. The dude got monumentally butt hurt and would disappear for long periods and one of the devoted followers would have to convince him to comeback. The devoted follower would say Boz has agreed to give us his intel but you guys can’t insult him or shoot it down. We’re grateful he’s sharing this with us.

Same guy right? Bama Rivals site 2008-2012ish?
Not sure of his background, but he started posting on Tidesports before they flipped behind a paywall, then I think he was on the Rant for a bit before coming to Woolly.

Then he'd run back to the Rant when his knob wasn't getting slobbed on Woolly.

It's going to be a wild day for UGA fans if they see Schumann come here + JP as an analyst. Their beat writer Mike Griffith just went on Three-Man Front today on JOX and called Alabama an 'unstable' program. The very thought of Glenn Schumann coming here would blow his mind.

He was ran off of Tidefans. He left here. Ran off? I'll not be the judge. He didn't last on TI. He didn't last on BOL.

He did grab information from those sites and shared it around various sites. His claim to fame is a friendship with Blake Sims. That's true. He has met some folks who have had connections within the program. He has also ruined a lot of those connections.

This is what happens when you post under the same username on all sites. You either gain credibility, or become something else.

I'll retreat back in the shadows with a Roll Tide.

Getting ran off there is not hard to do. I farted while I was on "mute".... got shitcanned. ;):p... actually left of my own freewill, think I may have been teetering on the edge though... had some warning shots fired my way.

To you all, that has a post here are anyplace on here. I will go and try and read what is happening at Bama. But sometimes it's like banging my head into a wall! But you guys break it down so any person can understand what is going on!

Yea I remember you guys discussing it previously and that he had spent some time earlier on campus. I have a few friends in the building and they said they'd seen him recently on campus wearing/getting more Bama equipment again. I think he's in at this point, just not sure in what capacity he will be within the organization until we hear back from the NCAA concerning the sanctions. Also I honestly like Austin Armstrong, I think he's a vastly underrated hire by us. He has a great mind for defense and I think he may be our next Kirby/Pruitt before too long once he's had a few years to season in the system.

What we know is (maybe) Nick had an open spot and Charles Kelly wasn't on Nick's list to fill that spot.

Is Nick going to keep the current OLB coach or maybe rearrange the deck chairs once all the new guys report.
