Very much so, he gets along very well with his players and has that ability and charm that will get him in the door with the family. I honestly expect big things from him in the future.

Saban's focus is also heavily on recruiting right now. One of those tasks he can back burner and still get done, the other he can't really afford to as it is the lifeblood of the program. At this point, I don't believe it is anyone's job to accept yet, and other staff movement is still in play as well.

You're right. Recruiting is always going to be the most important thing to a program. And I'm sure Saban has been in talks with a few of his candidates. But, this waiting patiently is starting to take a toll on me.sticker-meme.gif
 
Question: how is he effectively recruiting when they don’t have coordinators? If I’m a big time player, I want to know who is going to be calling the plays and how that affects me.

I think people Trust that Saban is going to be able to get them to the next level even if the OC/DC aren't decided. That being said, I think once the dead period hits at the end of the month we will have some news on those subjects either then or shortly after.

Probably more of an assuring message and discussing what Alabama can do for them academic and for future potential. Sittinf and reviewing film with coaches and such will come over Summer I imagine.

How does a tree grow without knowing how much rain and sun will be in the future? You have to start by planting a seed. There’s plenty of time before the next signing period.

Saban points out what they have been in the past and what they will continue to be and tells the kids how they will fit into the system, not how we will build around them. Trust the PROCESS "young grasshopper!" :ROFLMAO:
 
I wonder if Ryan Williams can/will declassify to the 24 class?..My goodness. He is one of the most electrifying kids with the ball in his hands I have ever seen,and I have seen a bunch. The young Hampton kid from Texas is nice also,and is slotted to be a WR at Alabama. I am assuming that Coach Wiggins has developed a strong relationship with these 2 already. Along with Perry Thompson. I am assuming that Mbakwe will be a CB....???

Brennan Marion was their wide receivers coach/passing game coordinator last season. He left Texas to take the OC job at UNLV leaving that spot open in Austin. I haven't heard a peep about Sark replacing Kyle Flood—that would come as a big shock.
