Someone who posted this on SECRANT: " It will be Schuman as DC and Pruitt as an analyst guaranteed and will be announced soon. Guaranteed. Mis heard my contact before. He knew Pruitt was getting brought back he just didn’t know in what capacity and now it is finalized"

I was little surprised to see that.

Thanks for sharing this. Hope it's true. Would be huge for the defense and add coaching depth.

Don’t you play with my feelings lol

I'm not sure SECRANT is a great place for breaking rumors and news but would be nice if true. I haven't really paid much attention or asked around about it this week, Saban usually keeps these type of hires close to the vest. Usually you see a flight manifesto or something come up with a flight from Tuscaloosa to a certain place that spells who is coming before you actually see a hire.

You probably should be surprised. I certainly hope this is the eventual outcome (think I've been pretty adamant about that for a while now), but as of tonight it isn't a done deal type situation.

if it wasn’t CrimsonBoz that said it, then I don’t believe it 🤣
Oh lawd... Were you on Tidesports and The Woolly back then?

Boz always struck me as a bit of a self-important blowhard troll. He got wrong way more than he did right, and I'm pretty sure he may have rubbed a few out at all the "love" he was getting for his "info inside".

Back around this time I was still coaching HS ball and going to clinics and helping with Saban camps, I posted some insideher observations that turned out valid and smacked his self-promoted "credibility" down a few notches.

He was specifically upset that I broke the Star Jackson leaving story. Hell, Chase Goodbread recruited me after that to be a source back when he was still writing for Tidesports.

Boz didn't like me after that. Lol.

Same here. My son was in law school at UA and was good friends with one of the managers on the football team. I shared some stuff from the manager's viewpoint that contradicted the Boz. Boz didn't like it one bit being upstaged when it turned out the manager was right and Boz was wrong.

Wasn’t CrimsonBoz the former player ( I’m guessing walk-on or student trainer) from the 90s that had the the intel of all intel like it was coming from the admin for Saban or Mal.

20% of the board took what he said as the gospel, 60% were neutral and the remaining 20% called bs on him all day. The dude got monumentally butt hurt and would disappear for long periods and one of the devoted followers would have to convince him to comeback. The devoted follower would say Boz has agreed to give us his intel but you guys can’t insult him or shoot it down. We’re grateful he’s sharing this with us.

Same guy right? Bama Rivals site 2008-2012ish?

I remember him on Wooly AL I believe it was, along with Paul Johnson's relative DA Baxter. :):p

FWIW, the JP news is pretty spot on. I'm told he's through the UA compliance stage.
Three scenarios:

1) Cleared, only as an analyst where any sanctions wouldn't impact Alabama.
2) Cleared because they know Fulmer is a POS. 🙃
3) They've considered all the options, including Pruitt being sanctioned, and they are confident enough to hire him in an official capacity.

I don't know anything, but it is hard to believe that JP can be hired as the DC without the UT deal being settled by the useless NCAA.
