No coach is going to come out and say “This is it! I’m gone! Coach fired me, but I’m going to stay for this last game!” BOB is gone! No doubt in my mind. Our OC position has been the “rehab” spot for coaches for the last what, 10 seasons?!! As @Brandon Van de Graaff said, for PG, it isn’t as cut and dried. IF CNS can find a better DC, then Pete is gone. If not, Coach will continue to take his lumps with him and just hope that our offense can put score people. I think that should Sankey sign off on letting Pruitt come back into the SEC, Pete can call Two Men and a Truck today.
I’m willing to bet damn near anything that Pruitt won’t be at Bama anytime soon

I might go on a two day drinking binge if he comes back. There's better candidates out there right now. It's gonna hurt knowing that if Alabama retains him.

Some back-channeling has occurred with some guys I think you've said you liked.... but nothing has really come of it. Not to say something won't soon, but vibes to this point don't seem overly positive.

That sucks to hear. Hopefully that changes and Alabama starts talking to some of them seriously. Do not have to get rid of him yet, in case they can't get another guy. Honestly, I'm down bringing Pruitt back in any capacity. I'd rather it being the head guy, but I'll take him doing anything.

Alabama should seriously talk to Leonhard, especially before some of these NFL teams come calling. He might take the NFL job over Alabama(especially if it's with the Packers), but it's worth a try.

Several have commented CNS will make a change if he can find someone better. How can he not find someone better? This is Bama and well PG is average at best. Does not seem like it would be to hard but CNS said PG is "really really good". Said it with a straight face smh....

Eight, sans 2017 with Daboll. (The rehab position hasn't been limited to offensive coordinator—Lance and the coach from Auburn with the DV issue—can't think of his name.)

What's interesting about your observation is his rehab clinic on offensive guys started with the transition to the offense we've been seeing since Kiffin arrived.
Can’t believe that I overlooked Daboll and he won a Natty!! I knew that we had others that had rehab stints, but we all know that the OC and DC positions are the ones that get all the love or hate!!

For your mental health and reduction in alcohol consumption, do as 50 year says, lower your performance and replacement expectations for now. I still expect to see wide open receivers, 3rd and long conversions, # 2 and 9 missing tackles. Don’t expect to dominate but hope for a 1 point win.
