šŸˆ This was a thread about Mel Tucker getting fired, and sort of still is, but it's hijacked with Russell Brand's story as well

Do you know how many companies fire their execs over affairs? I mean consensual relationships, not allegations of harassment.
Not many. The ones that do, ā€œcome to an agreementā€. Golden parachutes for execs. I know first hand.
Well second hand. A friend of the family is an executive employment agreement attorney. Iā€™ve heard tons of stories.

Sheā€™s just as guilty as he is.. Iā€™m starting to think the University might be behind this.. somethings wrong with this whole thing..Harsin case on steriods..
Sheā€™s not guilty of anything other than messing with a married man.

Youā€™re a cop as was I evidence is key and for whatever reason youā€™re ignoring the evidence and coming with stupid ass excuses for him and blaming her

I hope it comes truth comes outā€¦Something in this case stinksā€¦Could a booster or regent be behind this.. offered her lots of money to turn on Tuckerā€¦Almost like a man that rhymes with ā€œGain or Painā€ did to try to sink Harsinā€¦ The schools wants him gone ā€œ free of chargeā€ā€¦it is possibleā€¦ there are multi millions of dollars at stake here..Think about it..

They resign and get a severance, usually well below what they would receive if they were leaving under normal circumstances.

Again, I'm not talking harrassment allegations, rather a consensual relationship.

CEOs of McDonalds, Intel, NBCUniversal...

agree, but thatā€™s a handful of the hundreds that occur on a regular basis thatā€™s kept out of the news for contractual reasons. Shareholders usually have a say in this type of stuff also. I personally think they should be held accountable for this type of stuff more than they are, if they canā€™t be honest with the people that are most important to them how are the going to treat people they really donā€™t give 2 flips about.

Several have an agreement that the ā€œcompanyā€ handles buyouts/alimony/security/college/child care for ā€œXā€ # of generations. Some of these contracts are outrageous!!! Former communication exec has agreement that the next 3+2 generations have college, security, six figure salaries for life. They are currently raping the communication industry on every front, but thatā€™s another story all together. Theyā€™re awful people!
