🏈 The Good, The Bad and The Ugly vs. ULM

Good- My power was out for 45 minutes so I didn't get to see the fantastic production our offense has made.
Bad- Too many dropped passes. Coker has been on target.
Ugly- Slow motion of the team with a cupcake team. I could say this is designed but we have a major player hurt.

Good: Defense and Adam Griffith

Bad: Idigit penalties and Coker still staring receivers down.

Ugly: Dropped pass after dropped pass...Bama could have easily met the spread (and given you guys more Bama bucks :) ) were it not for two dropped TDs.

Good- Defense can't remember how many 3 and out we had a lot

Bad- drop passes some with say QB and some with say Rec's I will say BOTH

Ugly- Allen getting hurt. He will be miss next week!

Until we show we can throw the ball down field, and catch it, we are not going to scare good defenses. Our downfield passing game is abysmal. Downright nonexistent.

D played superb as did our FG kicker. For once... But special teams is still not strong. 18 yard punt and a big penalty on a good punt return. Soecial teams remain weak but Bobby keeps on drawing a check over there. At least we did not fumble a KO/punt!

Good- Defense! There was no energy in the stadium so the defense provided their own!

Bad- Drops! Coker was 17-31 for 158 and 3 TDs. Add at least 5-6 drops would run his numbers up to 22 or 23 -31 for 260+ and 5 TDs. The drops killed any rhythm that the offense could have.
Penalties were a negative.

Ugly- Play calling was terrible in my opinion. It wasn't any particular call but more the timing IMHO. 1st and 10 on the -25 and we run a 2 man deep route against a blitz and throw a pick. WHY??
Officiating was a joke! One week after Ole Miss has an Olineman 5-7 yards downfield on a TD pass and Saban sends it in the the SEC office, then Cam gets flagged for the same thing on a "speed out"? No damn way!!!

Good- Adam Griffith has found his stroke, D off the charts good, call reversed on Anderson's targeting penalty

Bad- offense sluggish, seemed to be running with their legs in cement

Ugly- whatever was bugging Griffith's pk stoke seems to have gotten into J K Scott's technique. He is not hitting the ball anywhere near as well as he was a year ago.

Good - D played excellent. Griffith kicked with confidence.

Bad - WR drops. We already have a subpar QB at best. Can't help make the situation worse.

Ugly - Tie with Coker and Oline. Against a lowly ULM Bama could not control the line of scrimmage on O. The Oline is not very good so far. Coker continues to make terrible decisions, late decisions, and when he finally does make a read his release is as slow as molasses and inaccurate.

Coker stares down his receivers hoping to help them realize they're getting ready to be forced to try and catch a pass. His method seldom works. The receivers on this team often don't catch passes thrown right to them. They even have "catches" easily swatted away afterward.

The Good- Defense and Adam Griffith

The Bad- This offense. I say it's the QB but hell, the offensive line looks bad, the wr's are inconsistent and overall we simply do not look like we know what we want to do as an offense.

The Ugly- The lack of fire in the offense's play. Their body language said it all...

After a few days of reflection

Good- Defense seemed quite salty. Very nice to see Harrison stepping up. Also very pleased with AG. Only fair to give kudos when I've bitched about him as much as I have.

Bad- Overall quality of the passing game. Our QB, Sybil< showed both personalities. One makes very nice throws. The other chucks it up, throws it late and has petite mal seizures at inopportune times. Receivers lack of concentration caused several drops. Other than Mullaney we don't seem to have a receiver with any kind of "mean attitude" that will fight for the ball or head hunt on a block. It was good to see Cam Sims go up and get a ball. Hopefully he continues to come back to form. We need him

Ugly- The duck of an interception was just flat out bucktoothed fat greasy head ugly. The offense as a whole looked flat and out of sync. Very sharp contrast in the energy shown by the defense/lack of energy shown by the offense. Also the "targeting" call was pure bullshit
