Yep! We had been kicking names around and she told me that was what she wanted, to be different.
My wife decided to be Mimi and I went with Papaw.
My mom is Mimi to my kids and my sisters’ kids. My Dad is Granddad. Both of my grandfathers were Papaws!
My wife is called Nanna, me I'm called Poppa. Our daughter is called Olma.
The daughter in laws parents already had several grand kids so they were already nanna and poppa. My grandad was Papaw so I went with that. Not sure I can live up to it but it is going to be fun trying.
