šŸˆ 2026 SEC Schedules & dates have been released. It's one bye week for the SEC in '26

We know the opponents but the dates will be announced tonight at 7 pm on the SEC Network for all SEC teams. Also, there will only be 1 bye week next season (which I hate). Here is Bama's scheduled 2026 opponents for a refresher...

Let's hope we don't deal with half these teams off of byes like this year. I really hope Byrne is in Sankey's ear it's not a one time thing either it's been a consistent problem for Bama over the years.

I pisses me of to no end. With a 2 bye schedule, it is an easy fix to make it fair for everyone, but I think those in the SEC office suck at math or are either too dense to realize that they are hurting their own teams in the long run (in terms of playoff chances) by doing it like they have been. WIth their just being 1 bye week for each school coming up in 2026, that alone should help some, unless they are actively going out of their way to hurt Alabama (which would make zero sense).

Don’t think they’re going out of their way but not doing anything to alleviate it either. If it falls that 5 teams have off weeks before UA, it’s ok because ā€œAlabama should be able to handle itā€.

Week 3- LSU at Ole Miss

As for Bama... It is going to absolutely suck having to play UGA, at Tenn, and A&M all in a row at that point in the season before even having a bye week yet. The on the road back to back at LSU and Vandy... hopefully Vandy takes a big step back next year and makes November a little easier.
