🏈 Tennessee Players in Bar Brawl

now if the numbers were a bit more even....7 vs 10 , 10 vs 10....i'd say baaaaahhh just a bar fight. In excusable nowadays....but 25, 30 years ago....was quite the norm in the deep south. Club owners even had insurance to cover damages from bar fights back then. nowadays it's just not exceptibale.
Men used to be MEN. and Honor & Integrity MENT something. And sometimes.....talking about it only make it worse. Sometimes....it's just time to be a MAN. Having been a Bouncer, Bartender, & barback when i was younger....i more than anyone understand this. If that's all it were then ok.

But these thugs Beat the snot out of 1 guy. very manly guys. wow i'm so impressed. Just wait till October when the odds ain't so much in your favor. Won't feel so good getting S^*# kicked by guys who can take it will it? better get ready cause that beat down is on it's way. And your not going to like the outcome. Well those of you who are still THERE to recive it. I think your coach just had 10 scholly's open up. I don't see him leting this fly.
Then again...this is TENNESEE we're talking about so....

But when i read this....i got all giddy inside. TY guys for making my week:

"........it looks for all the world like kids being kids, and nothing for the NCAA to get their panties in a bunch over. Until you re-read the part about players getting VIP status at a club, and not having to pay cover. Improper benefits? I don't know, but you can bet the NCAA will be checking it out."

heheheheehhe ummmm can i git a go big orange? lol rofl.
ahhhhhh poetic justice is so sweeeeeeet!

What can be expected of a program that has been in disarray for so many years? I really wish Tennessee, and all SEC Teams in disarray, would gain control of their programs and offer up some character built men to carry on the tradition that is the tradition of this great conference.

Don't worry. I'm fairly certain that the victim being an off-duty Law Enforcement Officer will not have any impact, formal or otherwise. Its not like there will be a rash of traffic stops of "football-sized" guys in the near term.

Scoring could see a clear decrease this season as Tenneessee players feel compelled to walk the goal line head-to-toe first before crossing it.

Questions: If the VIP status is deemed in appropriate by the NCAA, could there be a list of players suspended? Since their receiving the perks was illegal, and in the course of the crime the program was harmed, could UT go after that bar in court?

I would say that, if this comes to something, this might be an issue that the NCAA looks deeper into a lot of programs. Players on the football team get preferred treatment on every college campus. It's BS to those of us who are non-football players, but not so bad if you play ball.

I don't want to make this a race issue, because Matt Leinart showed us that everyone can make dumb decisions, by his handicapped parking way back in 2004-2005. But young black men need to be mentored on these college campuses by someone who will make them be accountable. I'm not sure football coaches are getting the job done, as evidenced by this incident. Knoxville must have an underground scene that is completely blind to social norms and acceptable practices.

The University of Alabama will gladly give these players a dose of their own medicine on October 23 in Knoxville, Tn. These PUNKS will be crying for their mothers before halftime. It does tell me that the puke orange is light years away from doing diddly-squat on the football field. It shows the rest of the nation that these thug wanna-be's don't have a clue what it takes to be a champion. Nice recruiting, Lane. Half of them will wind up in prison and the other half will end up on probation.

This doesn't paint a pretty picture, but it show how much the program has been led astray with all the years of lawlessness, followed by psycho Orgeron and Lame Kitten.

It's hard to find something funny in this, but I couldn't help but laugh at how Kiffen has left his legacy on the UT.

Morton said after Capouellez was kicked that several players started to run, but others came back toward the bar with their shirts off and wanting to fight some more.

Were they wanting to fight, or take a team picture?
