🏈 Team update 2.0

Morris... I don't see it. Boz may not cop to it, but he understands how disappointing seriously considering him. (Luckily for him, all that's been said at the woolly has disappeared into the great abyss!)

Not saying we can't win with him because we are so freaking talented all over the field, but I am saying we can't win a title with him. No way. And don't doubt my resume, I've been making amateur prognostications for years... Some of them have been accurate :-)

Ironic that Saban has done about everything he can to not be in a situation where Alec Morris has to start. Brought in a transfer, recruited 2 5 star QB's, moved the guy to freaking punter, and called him Alex on National TV after a terrible A Day showing.... Yet here he is! You may think I'm an ass hole, or being funny, but shit it's true! lol

What has happened to Raheem Falkins? A lot of the players who have since left the program were very high on him. Even mentioning him along with OJ Howard their freshman year as players to look out for. Now I'm not even seeing him listed in practice notes when line orders are given.

He got injured! Had some type of leg surgery I believe. Don't think it will keep him out all year, but that's why you haven't heard from him.

Trust me I would rather someone else I have no issues admitting that. B Miller would have the helm if he came, damn shame.

No. A single second of game play burns the RS

You may be thinking of medical exceptions that can be applied for if a RS season has been used, the player suffers a season ending injury, and has played less than, I think, 30% of a season
The medical redshirt is only available if the voluntary RedShirt HAS NOT been used. It basically allows you to play a few games and still REDSHIRT if due to injury. It cannot be used if you have already taken a NON-Medical Redshirt in a prior year. So basically, if you Redshirt your Freshman year and get hurt in the first 1/3 of the second year, you cannot take a Medical Redshirt because you already redshirted. You just lose that year. You only have 5 year to play 4 regardless (you can petition for a 6th year, but it's not a common thing given out. Typically if you have an injury/ies that cause you to lose multiple years). The only thing a medical redshirt does is allow you to count that year as your redshirt year EVEN THOUGH you've played in game if the injury happens in the first 1/3 of the season, but you HAVE to have a Redshirt year available to use it.

That is correct. Should read "has not" in my original post. Good catch.

When did he do it? Im shocked to hear that news. He was a guy I was looking forward to watching. I broke my own leg July 3rd so if it was around that time its probably why I missed the news. Hopefully he can recover nicely. Sucks for him, wish him the best.

So the nicktator has spoken, Morris and Bateman did well at the scrimmage although the Bateman line is stretch. Said Barnett has done good things. He did not mention Cornwell at all. said Coker is day-to-day.
