He doesn't have a cannon but he makes nice accurate throws most of the time. Barnett and Coker have better arms.

But not Cornwell? I seem to remember when he was a prospect one of his pros was having a fairly big arm. I guess to be fair though you did say "better" not necessarily "bigger".

He has fallen off the wagon here lately. Hard to say what he is doing but he is not performing well.

Recap for everyone!
Morris- Consistent, solid and know the Offense and Defense well. Doesn't have strong arm, but can get job done.
Barnett is the best but still lack inexperience. Strong arm, needs a year in the system. Could jump past Morris and Coker.
Coker- Can't even hit a brick if it was right in front of him. can throw three perfect throws, and next three can be horrible.
Need to have a solid scrimmage.. wait, he can't play. So he's gonna limp around for next few days and pretend he's a factor this week.
Cornwell- Inconsistent... Went from one of best to one of the worst. I mean he threw the ball above kiffin's head. Hello.
Bateman- Worst of the worst.

Transfer- I would expect Cornwell to transfer, no matter how it plays out.... Anything else?

I'm not sure there will even be a QB competition next year. Regardless of who starts this year, Barnett will be the guy. No need to start him now to avoid one.

Busted. Lurker on woolly. Watching Finebaum now as I type. :rolf::hurray::dance: I post on RBR and even called Sims starter after first scrimmage while folks on woolly were arguing on the fact Sims is horrible and Coker is next Peyton Manning. :naught: Didnt even bother posting on that site cause it lacked intelligence on the situation. I have discovered the inter-webs for quite some time however, as I have been a member of TI and BOL in the past. They were my Christmas presents senior year in HS in 2006. It's built that way, but I haven't finished configuring it yet. I started getting into that the other day when it was launched. It'll run on what is basically a promotion type of system. BUT, here's where I got ... well, stuck.

I really don't care for promotions based on post count that are titled recruit, redshirt, freshmen, etc. because it seems like you see that everywhere. That's one of the reasons I went with the "Verified Member" status like you see in the following thumbnail.




I'll get back into it soon ... shopping for a generator today and it's a bit of a priority versus finishing this up.

I always forget the rule on RS a player.... they can play a certain amount and still qualify right? So it is possible we see Barnett in the opener, and then RS if the coaches feel it's better right?
