| RECRUIT Recruiting News: The Alabama class of 2017

If not for Najee Harris being such a huge story, Robinson would be the next big thing. That kid has it all. Wouldn't surprise me to see him pull a Jacobs and steal some snaps next season. RTR

One profile I read suggested, if he added some pounds, he could be a Jalston Fowler type for us. It would get him on the field and make our running attack more prolific.

I could see that. He's listed at like 225lbs but isn't a super power runner type. Runs away from defenders easily and avoids ever getting squared up the way Henry did.

2 awesome RB prospects this class with Jacobs coming back. Future is bright (as usual). I genuinely think Jacobs has potential to be our best back next season if he gets the chance. Harris will be even better than last year. Emmons looking like the odd man out but he's super talented. This group mimmicks the old days of Yeldon/Henry/Tenpenny/Kamara/Jones backfield... But more of these guys will contribute.

After last season, we might have to redefine featured back. When you throw Jalen in there, there's only so many carries to be had. Could very well see some attrition after the spring at the position. Unfortunately, wherever he or they transfer, they will be good. We just seldom miss on running backs and I don't see a miss in the bunch.

Why haven't I heard anyone talk about the son of Cornelius Bennett, a 4-star DT prospect who ended up signing with Tennessee? Anyone know why he was never in the recruiting talk??? Or was he and I missed it?

Bama offered but I don't think he was very high on the board. @Birdman37 , his school, St. Thomas Aquinas, did ban BAMA right after Shula was fired. The old coach there was pretty tight with Daddy Shula. New coach lifted the ban several years ago.
