Agree with the "he needs to prove it" by producing on the field. People just can't be patient and give kids time like they need. Kid has to learn and develop some. Not many freshman that come in and perform at the level required to be a starter at Bama. Not even Tua did it until THE game...I hope they didnāt jinx himā¦I say he is going to have to prove that over time..
It was Shula. His offense. He called the plays. He coached the QB. In a sense DR was a lot like Applewhite: he served in more of an observational role. It was Shula's staffing decisions as well; it gave us Con (in both senses of the word.)Maybe a combination of both.... But bama was talent light....
Make anybody look weak...
Lot of Shula recruits around that 2009 NC
Ok...but Shula did get thrust into the position...and had no spring practice...it was tough situation...a few of his top players...ummm...It was Shula. His offense. He called the plays. Talent light, but said talent in 2009...?
Coaching light.
Shula's staff did a pretty good job bringing in some players under those circumstances.
We wouldāve been a better team with Price..Ok...but Shula did get thrust into the position...and had no spring practice...it was tough situation...a few of his top players...ummm...
And when Brodie got hurt...things went to hell for sure
