This is a game that is going to take some blue collar work by the bigs against the cow patty inside guys, Now I admit I never watch the Barn so not really sure what there strenghts are but Bama needs to play physical and punch some of the cow turd players in the mouth, Int he words of the GOAT... Make their ass quit.

From my perspective they are really strong in pretty much everything but mental toughness (and physical toughness for Broome and Baker-Mazara). But when they are in a groove and controlling things, they are a machine. They can be tenations on defense and really tough to deal with in the paint. They're deep and they can shoot the lights out from 3 at times. They take care of the ball and force turnovers on the other end. But, you weather their scoring runs, match their physicality, and go nose to nose with them, they'll bend. And break.

Agreed! They aren’t mentally tough! They do get frustrated and those two, Broome and Baker-Mazara, are two of the whiniest bitches on a basketball court that I have ever seen outside of Lebron James.

Great post.

Best defense by far we'll face. They'll be able to push us way off the 3 point line and wreck havoc around the rim. I think auburn does the best job of anyone too of defending inbound plays.

Alabama's going to have to ensure Broome and Pettiford don't beat them. Off ball D is just as critical in this game.

We are going to have our hands full by a very good Auburn team coming to T’town. The thing that concerns me is that the Tigers can play well uptempo or a half court game. They also have 4 players shooting 85% from the FT line.

Grant and Omnuri have to step up with rebounding inside. We cannot afford to let Auburn control the boards. Stevenson had his best overall game versus UTw. Hopefully, he can have another good scoring game. Philon stepped up big as well and finally knocked down some much needed, confidence building shots. Do we take the fight to Auburn or do they take it to us. We will find out Saturday afternoon.

Just went and looked for the hell of it to see the prices are on the tickets for tomorrow... there are a handful of pairs for sell in the floor sections... they are over $1000 a ticket, some over $2000, but still. If any of those end up in the hands of auburn fans, I hope Greg Byrne personally shows up on the doorstep of the TP member(s) on Monday to inform them that their basketball, football, and whatever (other)ball tickets have been revoked. And they can take their accumulated TP points, have them stuffed into a suppository, and shoved up their ass.

Okay, Brandon.

Bama had fan day for baseball and were serving free pizza to the fans. You didn't attend. I hesitated to say, "you hate Italians." Now, tell me, please. You are there for a free, cold slice of pizza.

"My son just got a free pizza from Youngblood." I just want to know, from where?

That is pathetic... being a dog at home.
You're seeing sharps and groups move the lines. 1 to -2.5 in a few hours. (It opened AU -5.5.) I was told it was UA -1.5 for awhile yesterday. I didn't look to see where/whom.

I've been watching CBB betting pretty closely for a few years. It's a fickled mistress magnified with lines being published 24 hours prior to the game. Things get moved too quickly, too easily, from my perspective.

Trying to figure out if that line is nod to the Barn or slap to Bama. I would assume Oats will play the slap to Bama card for motivation. When you push aside all the story lines it comes down to the basics, play great D with high effort, block out on the boards, take care of the ball, take good shots and hit free throws. Probably stating the obvious...

If I am Oats I am simply saying go out and be who we are because we are the better team. Go out and show it.
