A buddy of mine talked to him last year about walking on at USCw and he said that Pete was nicer than he thought.

Yeah, I've always heard the opposite. I've heard he's real loose, jokes, and is a great coach who you want to play for and be around.

My buddy who walked on at USCw sai Carrol s one of the nicest guys he's ever met. Says that Pete really cares about his players to the point that once a week Pete makes is way to every players house, dorm, etc just to talk.
