as my friend Kevin pointed out one of the quietest. Could have heard a pin drop. The irony...
Still a good memory to post to X!
I didn't attend that game, but it did sound loud on TV. The Iron Bowl in 2010 was also ridiculously loud on TV. My dad to this day says the 1994 Georgia game was the loudest he's ever heard BDS until the 2010 Iron Bowl. From start to finish, that 2005 Florida game was the loudest I've ever attended. Other than the Prothro injury, Bryant-Denny was one big jet engine from kickoff until 0:00.
I wasn’t able to attend the Mt. Cody block game, but was in the endzone of that LSU game in 2007 when Arenas returned that punt. It felt like the stadium was shaking, and I’m pretty sure it was, due to people jumping up and down. That was an exciting one. And agree, that 2005 Florida game was just insanely loud from start until Pro’s injury. I think we were hungry as a fan base for a game like that and it all came together against a team we really didn’t like. Most mentioned are one's that immediately came to my mind.
Javy punt return vs. LSU in '07
Charlie Peprah's Pick 6 vs. Georgia in '02
Julio's 74 yard TD catch & run vs. LSU in '09
Loudest moment IMO= Cody FG block vs. Vols in '09

Forgot the Areans return. Yep. LoudI wasn’t able to attend the Mt. Cody block game, but was in the endzone of that LSU game in 2007 when Arenas returned that punt. Have to agree with this. And I wasn't even in the stadium. I was on the quad watching it on TV. But I've never heard the crowd THAT loud...as in being able to hear them roar when Cody blocked that 2nd kick...from on the quad.I have to go with @24and7
While that UF game was a blast. Nothing I have attended in the past 22 years was louder than that UT block.
I was there. The LSU game when Julio took the WR screen 70+ yards was the loudest I ever heared BDS.
Considering I am unable to attend as many games as you guys, I was at two of these. The UGAg of '02 and the Florida game in '05 which was the welcome of Urban Meyers to the SEC after he had just beaten UK handily. You describe it the same way I do. It was jet-level noise for the whole game.
It would have been nice for the stadium to have been quiet during Prothro's injury but the Gaytor fans were too busy making asses out of themselves by cheering his injury and shooting birds at him. Never cared for the Gaytors since.
@Sgt. Lincoln Osiris That was an epic moment for sure. If memory serves me correct, that was the first ever OT win for Bama. Saban had a lot of issues with that 07 team buying in, but after that game, there was no doubt where Bama was headed.
