| OT Hurricane rolling in for UGA game weekend?

Dodged a bullet. Pushing more eastern.

Maybe we can say same for weather and game Saturday night

"GEORGIA IS GETTING HAMMERED"

Has a nice ring to it

Have you ever lived thru one. That is a whole other ball game.
A few brushes. Flooding? Oh yeah. 70+mph winds. Yeah. 100+. Yeah. I was biking this morning and caught a gust that almost stopped me in my tracks. I was ...about 17-18 mph at that point...booking, and it stopped me to a track. Crazy.

I watched tornado's tearing things up in N AL as a kid.

So, yeah. I'm in the 10th inning.

We left the panhandle last night about 18:30. Quite a bit of traffic and I heard I10 was backing up. Not bad on the way in

1am Friday right at Dothan. I have a daughter there that thinks it won’t be too bad. HARD HEADED AS HER FATHER.
I pray hers and every family will be safe.

She may be right. We just took a spur of the moment trip and went to PCB. The hotel was supposedly rated for a CAT5 and was filling up with FL residents from farther east as we were leaving.

If it helps any, we have family in Dothan and Geneva. They've said it should not get bad there other than some wind and rain.

Have a nephew that live in Jacksonville, Fla. I don't think he and his wife have every left their home for any storm.
I'd only leave for a direct hit from a major hurricane. Cat 2 or below is really pretty interesting to watch. We'd go to the beach with a few coolers for the couple i saw while in Pensacola
