| FTBL Possible Chaos In the SEC

Kubota 3420. Its a worker.
Easy to operate. Even a dog can use
OH, YEAH!

Consider this for a minute, will ya. I'm looking at a blurry ass picture of something you weren't talking about, see something in the background, and asked about it.

Juxtapose.

When we first started talking about Alabama on the Internet (early 90's) it was done over a listserv. It was based on Colorado, on the Internet. It was email, in a composite form.

I kid you not. There were two things you were allowed to talk about; BBQ and the squirrels biting lines across the Quad and UA and killing our 'net access. Yes. The squirrels. Ask anyone in that time era at UA.

And we're talking about this on a football forum...so to speak.
Ms50+ says watering can isnt old. A remake.
Her treasures
Nevertheless, that's pretty cool.

Tell her I said this:

Find an old wheel barrow. One with one of the steel wheels, no rubber. Fill it with dirt and plant flowers. Put the pot in the middle, fill it with dirt, and plant a contrasting flower.

Then...

Water like we do in this century. With a hose and a fitting. 🙃

She has been told. And liked idea.
All she needs is another project.

I'm looking at the standings and I'm enjoying the possibility of absolute chaos in the SEC and the playoffs at the end of the year. This is my scenario: Georgia loses to Ole Miss and beats UCheat. Bama beats LSU and wins out. Texas A&M beats Texas in the final game of the regular season. All teams win out the rest of their games. Then you have 6 teams with 2 losses, although the Aggies only have one conference loss, so they go to the championship. But who else goes? And how does the playoff committee handle this? In the Big 10 OSU, Indiana and PSU could conceivably end up with 2 losses. SMU and Pitt in the ACC could join Clemson with 2 losses. This could lead to all kinds of controversy, which is exactly what the 12 team playoff was supposed to fix. Buckle up guys. It's gonna be a wild ending to the season.

I don't believe it was ever going to fix it... they could expand to 24 teams, and there would still be manufactured controversy. The fans and conferences wanted more teams in though and the CFP wanted more revenue, so expansion was always gonna happen. And will happen again. But just like when it was 2 teams in the BCS, and then 4 with the birth of the CFP, every year we are going to have to listen to some degree from crying from the teams left on the wrong side of the threshold.

At what point do you admit TN has a pretty good football team?
I did in another post. Talked about them having a good D. My statement is more about Bama's issues this season than the Viles. Just saying Bama standard does not need to another team to do something for them they do it themselves. Yeah I know I predicted this first year struggles but I still do not have to like it.

There is already a 12 game “playoff” to see who gets in the big tournament. The money grabbers should promote it as such…

Div I-AA (or FCS) has had a 16 team playoff for years and they still have controversy. It's the nature of the beast. I was just amused when they first came up with the 12 team playoff some said it would eliminate the crying. I knew better.
Couldn’t agree more…Crying will never be eliminated. Look at the college basketball tournament…there is always a few teams “left out”.

All while watching some lopsided ass whippings, there just aren't 12 really good teams every year, was hard to find 4.

Have a round robin tournament so no one gets left out. It’s the only fair way to do it. We don’t want to hurt someone’s feelings over them not being good enough to get in. Let’s adopt a new way of doing things. Didn’t we “elect” a president (twice) who said he was going to fundamentally change América?

Sure hate to hurt feelings... what awful thing to do

How is this different than the regular season?

134 teams.
Round one, we're down to ... 67...33...16...8...4...2...

That's seven weeks. It's 19-20 games for a winning team.
