...choice.

Rich is on college gameday right now telling us how he should have researched the Michigan situation before taking the job. he said he should have known that the team only had one offensive starter coming back. But he never bothered to check into it because it was Michigan and he thought he would....(something to the effect of... just come in and light'em up.

What a moron.

I don't want any coach that just takes a job for prestige and money and doesn't know the first thing about the job. What does that tell you about his preperation in other areas?

He may not last four years there.

Rodriguez (and Herbie) talked about needing time to get the players to run his spread system. Defenses are catching up to the spread NOW! It may be obsolete by the time he gets 'his' players in at UM.

Yeah, Richie did us a big favor backing out of the Bama deal.

I saw the interview and was shaking my head. What coach chooses to go to a team without knowing what they will be getting into   ? I'm so glad we got the right coach!!

I couldn't believe that when I heard him say all of that mess. How can you be a head coach and never look at the roster before you accept the job. My god...is this his career or does he plan on doing something else soon? This comes after he tries to downplay their 'huge' rivalry over Ohio State. Then again...I can believe every word I heard. He's a complete DA and I'm SO glad he didn't end up here.

Spot on! Dick Rod don't seem to be a very good Coach you have to style an off. tailored toward your talent in that SITUATION! Hell Micheeeeegan has always been flat footed and slow! It's the talent they choose up there he will have to go south to get that kind of talent! WHEW! in so many words! RTR! #1 and 11-0 :D

Its sad. A coach should not have to consider if the last guy's players could win. A coach should have the time to show that his guys can win.

However, a really good coach CAN win with the old guy's players...A'ight

Rich just went on national tv and saud that as a coach his success is limited to his players in his system. How many times did Coach Bryant reinvent himself?

 You go from Saban being quoted as saying "People say we work ridiculous hours, but I don't get in until 7:00 in the morning and am gone by 7:00 at night" to not even looking on ESPN.com to see who how many Seniors starters are on the team?!?

As Garth Brooks once sang "Thank God for unanswered prayers"

At this point RR looks completely lost & is reduced to trying to ellicit pity on National TV. Don't know what anyone was thinking by trying to hire this guy. ^^NO ^^CO
