LOL, what did Krimson do? He's ok in my book.

Milroe could be banged up for sure. Who wouldn't after all the abuse he has endured.
But. I think the real issue is, we just kinda stink at game planning and playing offense besides qb run. On offense when the qb run isn't working, we ain't working.
I don't know if Simpson is the answer or not. This team is quite the enigma.
Ahh. Well, nevermind. He's just playing like crap then.FWIW, those posts are a month old... physically, he's much better off now than then.
It's the mental issues that are killing us now. I do agree with some people. DeBoer is coddling him and needed to light a fire under him even if it took a press conference to do it. He's mentally soft when it comes to pressure and things not going his way.FWIW, those posts are a month old... physically, he's much better off now than then.
Sounds stupid but they might be trying to keep the current QB we have committed. Then again how stupid is it to keep sending out $4 each week running the same 8 plays.I wonder if the staff doesn’t plan to try and keep Simpson. Maybe that’s why they haven’t given him real time with the 1’s in a game. If they do plan to try and keep him, why not see what he plays like now versus the first game of 2025?

He reminds me of a kid I coached at Fultondale HS back in the day. Some would call them “front runners” others say he was mentally weak. The kid I coached though, when things started going bad, I found out that it was best to pull him out and let him watch a little and then re-enter him, but don’t yell and scream at him though. He couldn’t handle that type of coaching. If you did, he would crawl in a shell and everything would quickly snowball. If I talked to him, encouraging him, he would always move past the bad play and be fine. I couldn’t coach him (he played QB for us) like I coached our LBs. My LBs could and would always react well with the chewing nails and screaming. Milroe reminds me a lot of that kid from 30 years ago!Maybe... but it's mostly been an extension of how Saban handled him. I do think they've tried, hard, to keep his confidence up... it's no secret that when he loses it, things go awry. But, in a couple of these loses, Tenn and OU in particular, his supporting cast has done a terrible job of helping him... and that includes teammates and coaches. What I mean by that is, we've seen way too many dropped passes, missed assignments, penalties (in Knoxville), and even some questionable effort by others... and that's just on the field. Off the field, the offensive staff (and most of the blame goes on DeBoer and Sheridan) have done a poor job when game planning against teams with good/athletic D-Lines/Edge guys... examples... Vols, OU, & South Carolina. It's not just simply a case of Milroe being set up perfectly and then falling on his face... he's had some bad games and terrible moments, but it's all too often been a system wide meltdown with him at the center of it.
That was a good old fashioned Lack of Effort!! At least forearm shiver the guy into the cheerleaders or freaking brick wall!! Coach Homer Smith always said we should at least be near the tackle IF we don’t make it. Worst ass chewing I ever got from DC Don Lindsey was my freshman year. I threw a pick and went after the DB. Coaches blew it dead right as I got there and I unloaded on him. After chewing my ass, he made me run laps until he got tired!Wow, I did not know it was this bad. I was getting a drink when it happened, so missed it. With that effort, I'd rather see him benched. That was pathetic. Not expecting a quarterback to get his head across and drive him out of bounds, but I've seen countless kickers put their bodies out there more than that. You could be the biggest Milroe supporter in the world, but there is no excuse for that. I rarely blame one player for a loss, but he was a major reason we lost and he caused us to fail on an extremely high level last night.
I have read a couple of post tonight that say the same! One poster says Kalen has no say in Milroe starting and can't make a change. This sounds so unreal that it can't be real. Then again you ask yourself why wouldn't Kalen insert the backup after the 3rd qtr?Let me ask you this: Do you think it's easy to Bench a guy who has LANK deal with Alabama and all?
Replacing Milroe with Simpson changes the entire offensive scheme. Simpson can run, but he’s not a runner. He’s a drop back passer. Be careful what you wish for.
Absolute best coach I had that understood that was Jim Parker at CHS (all of the coaches but one were really good, but he was the best at coaching the individual) * I’ll bet you know who the one was lol!He reminds me of a kid I coached at Fultondale HS back in the day. Oh and just a reminder we lost a receiver this week in recruiting, go fig. Tua recruited a lot of our great WR’s and we need a pure pocket passer if we want to attract that style WR again.
I have no knowledge, insiders, or any other knowledge. Just going by what I see. I’m sure it was mostly about money. But IMO, if I’m a receiver and I see OM offense vs ours this year, I see a brighter future in Oxford. Hey things may change, dart could leave and OM is a shit show next year. I’m just giving my opinion on what I would be looking at if I were in his shoes (past the money.) in all honesty, I’d go to TX.Are you implying that Bama lost Cunningham because he thought he wasn't going to get the ball?
OM has 3 losses also. Sure better offensive production as a hole but results are the same.I have no knowledge, insiders, or any other knowledge. Just going by what I see.
