I have no knowledge, insiders, or any other knowledge. Just going by what I see. I’m sure it was mostly about money. But IMO, if I’m a receiver and I see OM offense vs ours this year, I see a brighter future in Oxford. Hey things may change, dart could leave and OM is a shit show next year. I’m just giving my opinion on what I would be looking at if I were in his shoes (past the money.) in all honesty, I’d go to TX.

Dart is done after this season, but your instincts telling you that Cunningham's main goal was NIL money is on target. Which is fine if that's what he wants most, but there's not much more to it.

Ya I kind of figured it was and is for most kids these days. I was just thinking that besides money (and this may little to no value) I would think a recruit would be looking to a location that would best showcase their talents (increase their value). Just IMO, OM has 33% more passing TD’s than Bama this year, Bama’s QB has more rushing TD’s than passing. And like I mentioned, I would chose TX. Better record, and double the amount of passing TD’s. I mean we’re splitting hairs here and it all comes down to NIL money, but my point originally was just I don’t think our offensive output is helping us any with these recruits. If we are throwing it all over the yard then maybe he thinks twice (and maybe he did).

Keep in mind, Milroe is gone after this season... the offense will look different next year. DeBoer just put a QB and a WR in the top 10 of the Draft last April. He had another WR go in the early picks of round 2. And he's got a QB that is about to sign in a couple weeks that is one of the top 3 or so QB's in the nation in HS... If I recall his stats from the other day he has like 45 TD's and 2 INT's and has completed 70% of his passes, in 6A out in TX. He probably won't play any significant snaps next season barring something bad happening to a guy or two in front of him... but he's a guy WR's are going to want to play with.

0 int’s I believe…

How do we know this with certainty? I ask because I would think his stock is dropping. If he drops outside the first round could his NIL money be larger than his NFL money? Would he decide it is better financially to stay and try and improve? I still fundamentally believe in the kid but not sure he can excel with the OC and system around him.

In a world where very few things are certain, in sports or elsewhere, I don't really like making definitive statements, though sometimes I do. Yes, there is a small chance he could take another year, especially if his dad gets the idea that it would be better for him. But, even if that path is chosen, it's highly unlikely it would be at Alabama at beyond 2024. The far more likely scenario however is he enters the draft, gets an invite to the Senior Bowl (should be accept) and moves on to that portion of his career. I'll also add that in scouting circles, at least as of now, it is believed that he's going pro after this season... and these are from some who have visited UA games and practices this season.

I seriously hope he goes pro. I’m about over watching this experiment.

Nothing says that the source of some NIL money will dry up. Rhoback can still pay him. Armani Beauty just signed him. He gets paid by Celsius and Beats by Dre. Money is money. It doesn’t matter if it comes from an NFL team or through a product sponsorship.

Guess I had not thought about that. In the business world if they feel he is good marketing investment it does not matter if he is at Alabama or in the NFL.

Absolute best coach I had that understood that was Jim Parker at CHS (all of the coaches but one were really good, but he was the best at coaching the individual) * I’ll bet you know who the one was lol!
Yes sir I do! Coach Parker was going to be my junior high baseball coach, but when I hit 7th grade, only Gardendale and McAdory were going to field junior high teams, so we didn’t have a team. The next year, Coach Parker left. My favorite and likely yours too, could get you fired up to run through a brick wall. We always said that if he was leading a charge on the gates of Hell, we would be right there with him ready to fight!!

All I have to say is this.... How many national championship seasons did Bryce Young have? Or Tua? I'd say .5 for Tua because of his aloofness & moxy against UGA. But he didn't win anything after that. In fact, he was embarassed by the same DC in Venables. Versus, how many wins did "game manager" QB's win NC at 'Bama? ---> 5.

As much as I'd love to have a BY or Tua in the backfield right now, I'd rather have a QB who distributes the ball smartly, with no turnovers, to a wide range playmakers & an offensive coordinator who has no problem grinding it out with a running game.

I say bench him. Watch the game film. He ran backwards 2-3 times to lose 4 yds. His receivers did him no help but they don’t usually get to catch balls in games anyways so….
Bottom line he played scared last night. I don’t need a scared player. I need a leader. And if that leader is a pocket passer and not a runner, so be it. I don’t know the stats but feel Jam and Haynes averaged good yards. We just needed someone to throw to to compliment it. Oh and just a reminder we lost a receiver this week in recruiting, go fig. Tua recruited a lot of our great WR’s and we need a pure pocket passer if we want to attract that style WR again.
For D, as banged up as they are and as many times the O game them the ball, plus short field a lot, not a bad effort IMO. They are beat up bad!!!
I know some may slam me for slamming Milroe, and maybe he’s not the total problem, but he’s not the solution either. He’s a band aid on a flesh wound. It works for a little bit, but then not so much.

Yeah. On one of runs backwards...was 3 rd n 3. Had a first down if turned up ....but went sideways and backwards...for 3-4 yard loss...

If he doesn't want hit from college LBs. Wait till nfl LBs come ...they are beast....and eat QBs

He played weak...he isn't weak...but he didnt want any of it that day...for whatever reason...protecting his career...hurt...??????? What ever reason...

He is same QB that blew lsu away....n i expect he willdo same to AU

Auburn is coming to town with one thing on their mind…THE “GRAVEDIGGER” MILROE…Bond is not here…Durkin is not concerned with our Wides, Tight ends or RBs… They know if they beat Milroe, They beat us…

Thats the result of nick retiring. Lost Bond to texas. Receiver to Louisville...tight end to texas
...20 ( i think) that wore Crimson last year ...gone

Bond was already gone.. It didn't matter if Nick Saban retired or not, he was gone anyway.
Brooks- C'mon. he was gonna transfer anyway...
Niblack-That was strange transfer, but he needed to go. He hasn't seen much opportunities there that he saw at Alabama last year.

Looking at all of them that transferred.... I can see three that I wished would've stayed:

Kristin Story
Peyton Woodyard

Monkell Goodwine

Story… such a shame… one of the best high school players I’ve ever seen..
