Bond was already gone.. It didn't matter if Nick Saban retired or not, he was gone anyway.
Brooks- C'mon. he was gonna transfer anyway...
Niblack-That was strange transfer, but he needed to go. He hasn't seen much opportunities there that he saw at Alabama last year.

Looking at all of them that transferred.... I can see three that I wished would've stayed:

Kristin Story
Peyton Woodyard

Monkell Goodwine

I dont know. Seems like ohio state got a safety we could use.
Ole ms a DB
Others

But those u mentioned may have gone. May not have.

Wouldn't take but a few to add depth
Seriously needed depth

According to Chris Stewart on Jox, the offense play calls were coming in very late, in the 2nd half… An excuse for Milroe's confusion?… Was the offensive cord confused?… Technical issues??…

Brooks and Downs are the 2 I’d liked to have kept. And both are having solid seasons elsewhere. We could have used their skills. Well, I take that back, we would have wasted Brooks more than likely by not throwing him the ball. If he’s a good downfield blocker maybe we could have used him.

Before long Bama will have to give helmet stickers, for good play in a game.. to make some guys feel needed or appreciated..(Remember the old Ohio state buckeyes all over the helmets)

Downs- Like @Brandon Van de Graaff said months ago, that was significant loss but we definitely have done pretty good with our safety this year

I don't know if you knew there was at least quite few players that was going to leave whether Saban stayed or not. that has been said before.

Now, would some of these guys helped this year team? I don't know. It would've brought stability but I don't know if that would've changed the outcome or not.

Downs- Probably would helped in Vandy game, but Tennessee? I dont know.

For quick clarify: The calls has been coming in late all season long. The Communication cuts off at 15 secs and then He has 15 seconds to snap the damn ball. At the end of the day, Lot of blame goes on CKD, OC, and the team in that game. Plenty of blame to go around. I think we saw maybe 3 or 4 players playing hard.

And would have helped in depth. Thats really a weak spot ...and few injuries arent helping

Geez. This survey. Milroe hasn't been good, that's for sure. My tune has changed a little since about mid-season. I thought Simpson was the better choice at QB at the start of the season. Now, I think we are who we are. If Simpson is a better QB, don't ya think he would be playing over Milroe? There's no reason to "hold him back", he can't redshirt this year. He has already played in four games.

As for the Milroe/Hurts comparison. Milroe is like Hurts' evil stepbrother. When Milroe is on, watch out. When he's off, watch out. I don't recall Hurts killing us with turnovers like Milroe has. It's like Milroe can't help it when something goes wrong, he tries to hit a 5 run grand slam when you can only have a 4-run grand slam.

Story is from Lanett, Alabama. My ex is from there. she knew him personally and watched him growing up. Lanett is an interesting town, I feel like it's similar to Cherokee country, which where my wife is from.
The whole area is interesting! While growing up if you said, I'm going to the Valley and that could mean anywhere down there.

CKD “We had a good game plan”.. basically he said there was “no need to change it” that the execution may come together..This was when he was asked about adjustments…wow
You need to provide context of the interview to give us full picture.

You're going to get coach talk, so He's going to speak that whether we like it or not. But the vibe I'm getting from him: he's PISSED. The coach meeting has to be uncomfortable whether it was yesterday or this morning.

I was listening on the radio- Jox… I really hope he is pissed..He is a tough guy to read.. so calm and measured when he talks..

I'm the same way. I'm always calm at work and One thing I've been told that People don't know when I'm pissed as $#$# and when I go off, I go off on them. But there is a warning light that it's coming, and it's basically when I'm real quiet and haven't said much... they know it's coming. CKD might be the type to say right thing in public and go off on them in meetings.
