There's been several guys who have transferred via the portal who maintained their access to the facilities under Saban. They didn't just up and decide to quit during the season.

One is a guy fleeing his family in the middle of the night, the other cases are like mutual agreed upon divorces.

Yep, some players now feel the need to put out statements and such, usually on advice of their misguided handlers and agents, when normally up until now, things were handed internally and in a much more amicable manner... which meant the public really never knew.

I hope we can keep Haynes around. But if we don’t start sharing the rock and using the ‘backs more, it will be tough to keep 2 good ones. 250 yards rushing through 6 games and one run was 85 yards. 6.5 carries per game. I wish we could get that up.

Lack of development is a phrase that carries several meanings. Sometimes it's on the coach, sometimes it's on the player, sometimes it's a fit. I see this a lot like ... say, BJ Scott. It's almost a 'tweener' situation with the position change. Depth at Bandit really comes into play here as well.

BJ Scott, one of CNS first 5 star recruits, if I remember correctly. Came in with Dee Hart. 2 guys I thought would be studs.
