Your house in my area would be close to $1 mill3100, 4/3, pool, 1/3 acre corner lot. No state income tax.
School district gets 1.67% of appraised house value. The rest (city, county, community college) equal up to another .75%.

Yeah, the lower end of that number. 2.5% on $550k is almost $14k a year in taxes.
Id have to look and see. They're too damn high though, and we are going to appeal.
Do you like it out there? I've only been there once.
Easiest way was to just walk in prior to June in Collin County, the formal route I heard is a pain. The longer you wait, I'd suspect the harder it is to get decreased. I suspect they have a number they are shooting for across the county, so the ones who wait probably get the bird.
???Yeah, hate driving thru Frisco every day, but it is what it is.
My God, Balls talking like you're 400 miles apart.Probably 20 miles, our high schools (we have 1, they have 2) are in the same division.
Y'all just stay in a 1 mile radius of your house out there?North Texas is congested worse than Hotlanta. Traffic is a little better though.
The cities between us probably equal about 500k people, maybe 750k.
