if they didn't have Tebow? Let me put it this way what percentage of the wins would you say Tebow is solely responsible for? I really don't think Meyer is that good of a coach, i think Tebow makes him appear to be a lot better coach that he really is. Do you agree or not?

Urban kicked butt at Bowling Green, went undefeated and beat Pittsburg in a BCS game at Utah, and then won a national championship with players that weren't even fit for his system at Florida. I can't stand the guy but he is one hell of a coach. Gotta disagree with you about his ability... ;sh

I tend to agree with the other guys. Meyer is sort of an old school kind of guy, which IMO is why he is a winner.

Having said that. Tebow is without a doubt a freak of nature. He is extremely tough and durable. I do feel that once he is gone you will see Meyer level off a little bit. I remember a guy telling me that Alex Smith (Meyers QB at Utah) averaged getting hit 42 times a game. That is a beating in the SEC. Even Tebow proved to be mortal last year when he was banged up pretty badly (shoulder) near the end of the season.

So yes I do think you will see some fall off once Tebow is gone, but UF will not be a patsy like they were under Zook.

Without Tebow, right now?

You need only to look back to last year.

TT was hurt in the Ole Miss game last year and UF dropped 3 of their next 4 balls game. Their average score was cut just about in half.

When he was healthy again...back to scoring 45-50 points a game.

That said, I don't think Meyer will have much of a problem finding a QB that can run his system. Same goes for Johnson at GT for that matter.

Now, another Tebow? Those don't come around but once in a blue moon.

**It'll be interesting to get Alagator's take on this one.**

I agree, Tebow is Florida's offense. Reminds me of Virginia Tech when they had Vick. It's tough to play D against a player like that.
