Thursday smoking a turkey for my wife's family, they're coming over to our house for lunch. I'm also smoking a turkey and a boston butt for my family later that night. So I'm sure I'll be outside all day, too. Gonna set up the 60 inch on the patio while I'm out there so I can watch all the games. I was supposed to be covering the Iron Bowl in the press box but doctor still won't let me drive and said he wasn't comfortable with me doing all that walking at the stadium I would have to do yet, so we're getting a bunch of freinds together, my dad, my wife's step dad and her brother all over at the house for smoked wings and ribs. Gonna set the projector up outside if its not too cold and might do it anyway and just have us a fire going.

We're looking at about a 50% chance of rain, around 50ish most of the day. Rain or no rain, we'll have a fire going in the fire pit with someone designated to get wet. :devil:

Smoked turkey is on the menu as well here though I'll be eating Oysters from the time I get there until I leave ... not sure when it's going in though.

It's going to be football on the patio with beer and oysters or in the house with those cooking. I'll be outside all day...except when stepping in for another plateful, or two, or three...

This year we don't know, our youngest GD will be going out with her future outlaw, I think Cracker Barrel, my other one the, one that is marry will be with her now very own in- outlaw! Their Mother our daughter and her son our GS will be here. So I guess we will be having a Thanksgivings here, but not as much food as before. The wife just bought legs and thighs for out meals. Plus, I have to watch what I eat because of my diabetes. TerryP if you were near you would be invited here for Thanksgivings. Football for sure!
